True Wisdom

The less we rationalize things, the more enlightened we will be. When the excess of our logic and reason is gone, the mystery of life and of living unfurls.

My Painting

the sky is my canvass

my emotions my paint

a palette 

of vivid varying colors 

deep hues of gold

and orange and blue.

for not minding
being soaked
with my tears,
for simply being here...
you are
the warmest
of comforts
and the sweetest
of companies.

shun the sun

i embrace the sunlight

only to feel colder

than i have ever been.

sun-kissed

bathed in sunlight,

ensconced in its warmth

but alone.

oh what a tragedy

that such a beauty

would be so empty.
